    There is a natural gas leak near UNC Hospital on West Drive. The gas has been turned off, and Dominion Gas is on the scene to respond. There is a smell of gas in the area and in nearby buildings. Please avoid this area. If you are nearby, follow instructions from first responders.

    UNC-Chapel Hill has been updated to a Condition 3 retroactive to Monday’s Condition 2 message. UNC-Chapel Hill will remain in Condition 3 until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday night. Classes are canceled Tuesday, and non-mandatory operations are suspended.
