Students, Faculty, and Staff:
An Alert Carolina was sent on April 25 regarding a series of breaking and entering incidents at a campus parking deck. Since then, UNC Police have responded to six additional breaking and entering incidents of motor vehicles in the Dogwood, Craige, and Bell Tower Parking Decks.
UNC Police continue to investigate the incidents, but there is no suspect description at this time.
UNC Police advises the community to always be familiar with your surroundings, lock your vehicle, and take all of your valuables with you. Crimes of this nature can easily occur in other locations. If you spot suspicious conditions, please contact UNC Police by dialing 911.
The UNC Police Department is available 24 hours a day by calling 911 in an emergency or 919-962-8100 for non-emergency assistance. Officers are also available in person at the Public Safety Building at 285 Manning Drive.
