UNC Police are asking anyone with information which might aid in an investigation into three related room break-ins in Morrison Hall Wednesday evening (June 21) or during the day Thursday (June 22), to please contact the UNC Public Safety Department.
The break-ins are thought to have been related, occurring in three adjacent, unlocked rooms being used as temporary housing by participants in an athletic camp on campus. In each case, cash was reported missing.
Anyone with information should contact UNC Police Investigations at (919) 962-8175. Also, anyone seeing any suspicious activity anywhere on campus is reminded to call 9-1-1 immediately. Campers and other residents in UNC Housing facilities are reminded to secure all room doors, even when they’re unoccupied.
