Chapel Hill police investigate stabbing near campus

Chapel Hill Police are investigating a stabbing that took place early Sunday morning in front of the Pi Kappa Alpha House off South Columbia Street. The victim, a male UNC student, was assaulted by a suspect who immediately fled the scene. The victim was transported to UNC Hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call Chapel Hill Police at 968-2760 or Carrboro-Chapel Hill-UNC Crimestoppers at 942-7515.
