Construction officials are stabilizing a crane near the intersection of West Drive and Mason Farm Road on Thursday, September 17. The work is expected to be completed by mid-to-late afternoon today.
Mason Farm Road from just east of the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) Lot entrance to the three-way stop (south of the Dogwood Deck) is closed to through traffic. Cardinal Deck: PD permit holders may enter the deck at the lower West Drive entrance.
Those exiting either the Cardinal OR Dogwood Deck must turn left onto Mason Farm Road upon exiting.
Dogwood Deck: Patient / Visitors may enter and exit from East Drive.
ACC Lot: Patients, Visitors, and FG permit holders may enter and exit this lot onto Mason Farm Road from the west via South Columbia. Transit: Chapel Hill Transit has supervisors onsite redirecting buses and customers until the normal operations resume. Please see the Chapel Hill Transit website for further updates:
UNC Hospitals shuttles are being rerouted until normal operations resume. Alternate stops are being utilized at this time.
